Six months ago, a friend emailed saying she’d like ideas for a fun hen party. The hen, our mutual friend, loved Bollywood and food. So I suggested why not have a Bollywood cooking class. Surfing the net, I quickly discovered there was nothing that offered a full Bollywood experience to excite, entertain and nourish our senses.

Sure, there are a few entertainment companies offering Bollywood dance classes but this is as far as the Bollywood experience goes. A couple of companies go a little further by offering a relaxing Indian head massage and a couple of pampering treatments but that was it.

After further research, I thought why not plug a gap in the market and so the idea of Bollywood Hens was born. Evidence shows that Bollywood culture – mostly the mainstream success of Bollywood films – has really taken off in the UK so it’s a hugely exciting time. Armed with this knowledge, I am very passionate about creating hen parties with a fresh, fun Bollywood twist. My team will go to full lengths to make your hen party an ultimately fun, Bollywood experience. This is what will set us apart from any other event provider.

We have contacts with various providers; cooking schools, Bollywood dance teachers who provide authentic, hip, funky and easy-to-follow dance routines true to the popular Bollywood film songs we all love and cherish. We also have contacts with Bollywood make-up artists and DJs who can spin the latest Bollywood tracks in a their own unique, funky style. For those who take the Bollywood Hungama package, we will take care of the logistics, getting from one place to the next.
